Use beard conditioner after you've given your facial hair a wash/mist. Just work in a dollop of conditioner into your beard while it's wet, and style.
You can use a beard conditioner up to 5 days, especially if you have very dry skin and thick beard hair. If you have oily skin, you may want to cut back to 3 days a week. See what works for you.
